63rd Street tunnels cannot clear anything taller than a 12'11" high MU.
Forget NJT going there.

Why should LIRR lay up in New Jersey when they can layup in West Side yard ? There's sufficient reverse peak NJT trains as it is to Newark, the only likely place a LI commuter would want to go in New Jersey that is served by NJT. .
