Posted by MATHA531 on Sun Oct 23 11:38:08 2011 I was thinking yesterday as I rode a #5 out of Flatbush Avenue due to the GO, the car on the train I was on had a strip map for the #2. I've also seen that quite often on weekdays out of Flatbush. As a matter of fact, sometimes a train comes in as a #2 and leaves as a #5 or vice versa so the obvious question....Didn't the bird brains when they ordered the cars and set the specs make provisions or was the assumption that once a car was assigned to the #2, it would always be a #2 and tht if a major change occurred, the car might become a #5 and the right strip map substituted? It just seems that there was a mess up somewhere or just plain stupidity. What were they thinking? |
