ISSUE AT FOREST HILLS

First off, thanks for the suggestions on LIRR photo locations.

Now on to the issue Alex spoke of earlier. We were wrapping up at Forest Hills:

When two MTA cops asked us what we were doing. It pretty much was a tone of "I wish these LIRR guys would stop calling us about this picture stuff". A 5 minute conversation ensued, not heated, followed by me producing the NYPD photography letter. They told us that we should stop by the LIRR at NYP or Jamaica for a photo permit which is free. I knew this wasn't necessary but I chose a different tactic than confrontation. Now at that point I could not find the MTA photography paperwork. I took my last shot in front of the officers, informed them that our next stop for photos was Kew Gardens & we left. On the walk to Kew I found the MTA photography letter in my camera bag case I needed it. We shot at KG, Jamaica, & Freeport & even NYP & were not questioned for the rest of the day.
