The days of the NYPD trying to get a car to every EMS call are long since past. You'd be surprised at what NYC's EMS crews are expected to handle without the police...However, if TS has a meltdown on a TRAIN, the NYPD will be there...anytime a train stops with a sick (EDP or otherwise) passenger, NYPD is dispatched along with the ambulance. |
