Re: Most Black Americans 'Pessimistic' About US Under Trump, See President As 'Racist': WaPo/Ipsos Poll

Medical services at Planned Parenthood include things like prenatal exams, counseling, birth control, and reproductive health care. Abortion services are a separate item, and the 4% of PP's budget that is allocated for these services are the total amount of funding given to it. That's also per PP's own published literature. Nice try at making it seem as though PP is playing games with the nomenclature of its departments, though.

I love your attempt to remove yourself...

You call it state sponsored murder, but you support state sponsored torture. You want abortion banned. You want the government to do it. So you want parents to be tortured to care for children who may be born with fatal defects, stillbirths and more which require constant medical care. Yet you with your moral compass when it comes to your big talk wont deal with the after effects of your decision.

You tried to make abortion black and white and when it comes to your part you run away.

Pathetic.

More details.

Looks like 4% of interactions are abortions, and of course an abortion is a lot more expensive than a pregnancy test.

however it is likely more than the 4% because an Abortion is going to cost more than an STD test or other forms of birth control like pills.

My reading was that the 4% was that of all medical services performed, abortion services made up 4%. In other words, if Planned Parenthood performed 100 medical procedures, abortions would be 4 of them. Not that of the medical services budget 4% went to abortion services.

If it's not mentioned as a federal responsibility, then it's a state right. Individual laws can be changed. But they have to be changed in order to do so. You can't just take away a state right if constitutionally that is what it is.

He's right.
These are 2017 stats.

http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/usa_abortion_by_race.html

According to the statistics the abortion rate was:
2017:
White: 280,000
Black: 295,000

No, even forgetting that Whites outnumber Blacks 6 to 1, Blacks STILL have a higher amount of abortions. Now adding in the fact that Whites DO outnumber Blacks 6 to 1, Blacks are more than 6 times more likely to have an abortion.

Assuming, arguendo, that they did, they would deserve to rule over the entire country.

James Madison made it clear that he believed that there is no evidence that the large states would all move as one bloc, so the whole small state/big state division was a non-issue to him.

The fact that the top three states are CA, TX, and FL proves that point.

What? If it's a right of the people, the state is prohibited from abridging it. And in any event, this is beyond the scope of my claim that the structure of the federal government favors the smaller states, and to a greater extent, a group of states called the "swing states." This is still a rural bias because such states have a lesser proportion of their population living in urban areas than the country as a whole.

"Turn Away The Gays" laws most certainly do pervert the concept of "state's rights", because the states do not have the right to enact laws that violate the Constitution.
