It is not an either/or proposition. Why does the government even have to be involved? If private charities wished to support those cases we should not stop them. I am sympathetic to those that have genetic defects that make it impossible for the child to live outside of the mother or present a risk to the life of the mother. I am against abortion as a means of birth control because someone chose to engage in sexual activity when that person did not have a desire to get pregnant. |
