When the state is paying Planned Parenthood yes it is. I know they don’t subsidize abortions directly, but the money received for other services allows Planned Parenthood to defray costs/fundraise less for abortion services.

Incorrect. You keep moving goalposts. Enough.

So lets push your moral compass then. If abortion were outlawed would you support a tax to take care of children born with genetic defects or abnormalities to be taken care of? Build new hospitals and such?

According to their published report for 2018-2019, 4% of their medical services were classified under Abortion services. There were 13% listed as Other Women’s Health Services and 1% listed as Other services. Impossible to tell how much of that could be considered Abortion services. Medical services represent 60% of the expenses of Planned Parenthood. They do not breakdown what percent of the Medical services budget is applied to abortions and related services, however it is likely more than the 4% because an Abortion is going to cost more than an STD test or other forms of birth control like pills.

It is not an either/or proposition. Why does the government even have to be involved? If private charities wished to support those cases we should not stop them. I am sympathetic to those that have genetic defects that make it impossible for the child to live outside of the mother or present a risk to the life of the mother. I am against abortion as a means of birth control because someone chose to engage in sexual activity when that person did not have a desire to get pregnant.
