I have major disagreements with the Catholic church. I disagree with the Church's position on:

1.) Priestly Celibacy - I believe Priests should be allowed to get married and have families.

Me too. There's a reason for everything. The church is enormous. That's one reason why they don't want to provide for the livelihood of priests and families. Can you imagine your local rectory containing priests and wives and families? Ugh.

It's easy for someone to start their own church in an old movie theater in Elmhurst and have a wife and kids who most likely help run the thing.

2.) All male Priesthood - I believe females should be able to be able to serve in the Priesthood and can be just as effective as males.

I think that's because the priest is playing the role of Jesus in reenacting the Last Supper, and Jesus was a male.

3.) Stance on condoms / birth control / premarital sex / masturbation

RC is a church. What are they supposed to say about rubbers, having sex before marriage and jerking off?

4.) Views of homosexuality

Ok. Marriage has been understood to be a bond between one man and one woman for centuries in religions all over the globe, not just Catholicism.

5.) THIS:

Abortion? Baby's heart is beating after just three weeks. That's what all the highway billboards in Florida say, and they're not being placed by the Catholic church. Many denominations believe that abortion is killing an unborn baby. It's not just the Catholic church that believes this.
