Yeah. I'll read it too. LOL @ "When priests preach against contraception". I have never ever heard a sermon where a priest brought up contraception.

Then how is it common knowledge that the Catholic Church frowns upon contraception? How was this promulgated?

I'll clue you in. We're talking about getting laid. I can't imagine too many people deciding not to use a rubber because of the church. If someone wants to have sex and avoid disease and/or unwanted pregnancy, they'll wear the rubber even if they go to church weekly.

Churches give people life advice. It's part of what makes religion good. If it weren't for their policy on contraception, then priests might be able to encourage people to use it.

Pope Benedict did say that condoms are acceptable to stop the spread of AIDS.
