Nope. You made a point about condom use and Catholic influence.

You committed the logical fallacy of denying the antecedent. You assumed that the opposite of the antecedent also implies an opposite consequent.

Well, not at the same rate as Africans and gays, but middle-aged people are being warned about their old ways and being told to put on a raincoat because of an increase in AIDS cases in middle aged women.

The argument was exclusively about AIDS in Africa.
