My views on the Mosque Re: NY gove candidate Paladino: I would use eminent domain to block mosque

OK, I might ruffle some feathers here with some of the posters I usually agree with but... I am definitely a conservative, believe in the tea party, could be called a right winger but I cannot agree with all the people who are against building the Mosque. Here are some of my reasons:
  1. First of all, I keep thinking of Krystalnacht. A Jewish youth, Henry Grynszpan, killed a German official in Paris, and the Germans used this to demonize all Jews. I see a parallel to this with 9-11, so much Islamifobia as a result of 9-11.
  2. If you deny the building of a mosque, next you can deny the building of any house of worship.
  3. It's privately owned land, as long as it's legally zoned for a paticullar use, who are we to stop them.
  4. There has always been religious freedom and religious tolerance in this nation.
That being said, I do support an investigation into the Imam and into the funding.
