We never said tough thats first, secondly theres a MAJOR difference and MAJOR flaw in your comparison so let me address your ignorance and flaws here.Pearl Harbor was an entire nation (japan) supporting their country in destroying (beating) another country (US) this is a radical group of terrorists who claim their actions are just based on religion. It's was NOT the entire religion itself that attacked the WTC, it was NOT the majority of peace loving, respectful muslims that put those planes into those towers. It was a group of radicals who spilled blood on their religion and disrespected it that day. So how is it that building a place of worship an insult? Are you saying that it was Islam itself that attacked the world trade center like the japanese attacked pearl harbor? That all people who practice islam are the problem? Its a place of worship, its a recreation center that all people can use, it's there for a peaceful purpose. So how can that be insulting? You know why it can be because those who oppose this are ignorant... yes ignorant, because as you've proven with your analogy that its insensitive because its an ISLAMIC place of worship and the terrorists who attacked are Muslims. So you're painting every Muslim with the same brush. You're saying that the people who would use their place to pray and worship and use this recreational center are supporting the terrorist and pissing on the 9/11 graves. You're saying its an insult because Islam attacked the WTC on 9/11 like the Japanese did on pearl harbor, but no its not, its different. You're letting the terrorist win when you say what you've said and by being opposed to this, because the terrorist want us to hate Islam because it works for their propaganda machine. By opposing the Mosque, you're opposing the freedom of religion and freedom to worship. Location is irrelevant, it could be in the tower for all I care, but if the people who use this facility and its purpose is for peaceful intentions, then why be insulted, why be insulted by something that promotes peace and unity? |
