I heard an interview on local radio with that Muslim guy that used to be a terrorist...Walid something...and he said that he has spoken with the guy building the mosque and that he is a double talker. He says one thing in English and another in Arabic. He says that the guy supports establishing Islamic law in the west although under a democracy, not a kingdom or theocracy. Some other stuff. He says that the mosque is definitely a supposed to be a sign. He says that Americans might not know that mosques have a dual purpose. They are houses of worship, but also embassies for Islam. Building a mosque is both political and religious. |
