First of all, I keep thinking of Krystalnacht. A Jewish youth, Henry Grynszpan, killed a German official in Paris, and the Germans used this to demonize all Jews. I see a parallel to this with 9-11, so much Islamifobia as a result of 9-11

Why do you see a parallel? There was no equivalent Jewish nation to today's Iran, sponsoring Jewish terrorists. There's no parallel whatsoever. Have you been falling behind in terms of knowledge? Don't draw parallels where none exist, never mind ones that are insulting.

If you deny the building of a mosque, next you can deny the building of any house of worship

No house of worship should be anywhere near that spot. What point are you trying to make? Is radical Islam related to "worship" in any way, shape or form? Does Imam Rauf care about "worship"?

It's privately owned land, as long as it's legally zoned for a pa(r)ticullar use, who are we to stop them

The "private land" excuse again. Why was it sold to a representative of a hostile nation? Why was it put up for sale at all, given its history?

There has always been religious freedom and religious tolerance in this nation

"Religious tolerance" is not the same as religious freedom. Only one is protected in the Constitution.

So . . . what were you trying to say? Iran has free rein in NYC? (Just because Ahmadinejad has freedom to come to the UN and speak there, or to speak at Columbia U, doesn't mean that.)
