Before answering your question, what is your basis for alleging that the members of the Russian mafia in the US are 100% Jewish? Your personal Jew-hating beliefs? Lets see some evidence.Jeez, he said "seems". He never said it was 100% Jewish. Since his question was about whether non-ethnic-Russians were allowed in the Russian mafia, even a percentage of them being Jewish would prove the point. The evidence is that there are plenty of Russian mobsters who are Jewish. Also - if you would actually read history you'd have your answer. Jewish organized crime has never been exclusively Jewish. Even the legendary Jewish Mafia of the 1930's had Italian Catholic officers. Completely different mafia. What is true is that the Italian and Jewish mafias worked together a lot, but they weren't members of each others cosa/schtick.* The difference is that these modern Jewish mobsters are members of the Russian mafia and not just their own mafia that works together. *Yes, that's the term. It's Yiddish. |
