You certainly have a strange definition of "plenty". In the list you hyperlinked to, there are 56 names of mafia members, 7 of which are identified as Jewish. That's 12.5%. That constitutes "plenty" in your world?The Italian mafia has always operated differently than other mafias. Only the Italian mafia has "made men" - Italian Catholics who have committed murder and have taken the blood oath of loyalty to the Family before their families. The Jewish mafia was run more like a business (Murder Inc. is the perfect example) and as such, had no "made men". But if you had read what I had posted, you would have seen that there were Italians who were more than just "working with" the Jewish gangsters. There were Italians who were actual bosses and who commanded assassins, both Italian and Jewish. The two mafias worked a lot more closely than you think. What a stupid conversation. |
