Posted by MATHA531 on Mon Feb 27 22:38:22 2012 Interesting change put in on B103 (yes there were signs). Starting today, they changed the route on the buses headed to downtown Brooklyn getting off the Prospect Expressway and driving down 7th Avenue to 9th Street then across on 9th Street to 5th Avenue and 5th Avenue to Flatbush past the Barclay Centre on Flatbush to make the left turn onto Livingston. There was no congestion to speak of on 7th or 5th, a bit on Flatbush. Originally the route stayed on the Prospect Expressway to 4th Avenue and used 3rd Avenue to Flatbush and the quick two left turns onto Livingston. That route sometimes could get congested and when it did, they used 4th Avenue.....seemed to me to be a bit longer than the old way this morning.Not complaining mind you. They must know what they're doing. Or do they? |
