You are aware, aren't you, that every other bus short turns at the junction and really during mid day only 4 buses an hour goes all the way downtown....it picks up somewhat during peak hours but of course during peak hours, traffic is much heavier. I also wonder if it would make more sense on the trip from downtown to stay on the Prospect Expressway and make a left at Beverley to Coney Island Avenue..(I am sure they can get special permission from the city to go the one block from Church to Beverley (or is Beverly) Road....as it is now that detour via McDonald Avenue to Church adds about 10 minutes to the route from downtown. |
