Rode the 10a.m. from Williams Avenue to Tillary Street today beginning to end. Weekday midday. I was surprised at the numbers with 8 buses per hour - many standees from about Ralph to Nostrand, though they probably could have sat if they needed to. Once we were passed Nostrand, headed to Downtown, we were down to a few and I was one of 7 that was aboard for the highway / non-stop stretch.Maybe it should be half-hourly to Downtown during the day. You'd probably be able to cut a third of the buses and I don't think you'd lose many riders as the ones who appreciate the service would just start looking at the schedule. |
