If there is a need for B 103 routes, then I would say that should one of the purposes that an SBS route should be used for. Since building subway lines are too expensive and too NIMBY supportive, SBS/BRT would be the best option. In the case of Brooklyn a crosstown B 103 or SBS like route is needed to connect Southwest Brooklyn with Southeast Brooklyn or even to JFK Airport. |
