And this is one main reason why the MTA should learn how to market new services andwhile reducing service on the least (and I mean LEAST) profitable routes.If the MTA was as bold as NICE, they would eventually learn from the mistakes of cutting service. I am not saying cutting a route which serves only one or two passengers per trip, I am taking about reducing frequencies on most routes and eliminating routes which cause a large gap of bus service in an affected area. |
