Getting on a 45 year old train with no AC. At the first stop you have to stand. Every time the train enters the station the brakes screech. By the time the train reaches its 4th stop it's crush loaded. In the middle of the express run the train starts crawling. Meanwhile, a scruffy looking panhandler begs for change. Now, imagine a system 225 miles away that is infinitely better. The trains are controlled by computers, the stations are clean, and trains travel 65 miles per hour. However, people who use that system complain about every little delay while you wish your system was half as good as that system. That's how I feel. |
