Even if the E ran the R160's it's still going to be the same thing:bums making a home in the cars, crush loaded conditions, express trains waiting a 'few feet' from the lead train... The local which is less crowded and runs at a more consistant pace [stop and go rather than a snail's pace] will still get you to the next express stop [maybe a few min later 6-10min tops] and you won't have to deal with the cattle car like conditions on the E. No one forces you to stay on the E. |
