As AEM7AC 901 posted, WMATA trains generally don't operate at speeds in excess of 59 MPH. When they do, it is almost always in manual operation and there are only a few places where such speeds are attainable. Most of the time, if a train does reach 75 MPH, it can't stay at that speed for very long because it reaches the next station pretty quickly. But I don't think any argument will convince you that your methods of judging the systems are purely subjective and you have practically no factual evidence to back them up. |
