In one of Ken Burns’ documentaries, Moses was recorded in an interview when asked if the residents in the South Bronx complained when the X Bronx Expwy was built through their neighborhood saying “Oh no, they gave us no trouble at all.” Such blatant lying is inexcusable and its unfortunate that the residents couldn’t have gotten together and stopped him like they were able to stop the Lower Manhattan Expwy. |

When I was still in grammar school, we were shown a slide presentation that indicated that the proposed Narrows Bridge (the name Verrazano had not yet been decided on) would be a joint project of the PA and the TBTA.
