It’s unfortunate that the NYC fiscal crisis put an end to many of the MTA’s plans since they would have partially undone some of Moses’ damage. On its face, the creation of the Cross Bronx Expwy destructive to neighborhoods though it was might not have been so bad if it had been constructed with a median for rapid transit Chicago style The same for the LIE and G/Cent Pky. |
