TMNY is up-to-date on its 990 filings. You can verify this by going to irs.gov on the 990 lookup page for small organizations and type in EIN 116047858.https://www.irs.gov/Charities-&-Non-Profits/Search-for-Forms-990-N-Filed-by-Small-Tax-Exempt-Organizations |

Aha, they can do a postcard filing because their gross receipts are below 50K each year starting in 2010. Good news and bad news simultaneously I guess postcard filings don't appear on Guidestar. So if they can really start raising more money they have a chance. But not if they keep on being eligible for a postcard filing. :( |

How can you possibly know that there is an implied deceit, regarding a proposal never acted upon? In the life of any organization, there are lots of proposals that are floated but not acted upon. This particular one, about a possible move the Bush Terminal, I have never heard of. BHRA stored PCCs there that were eventually scrapped; are you possibly confusing us with BHRA? |

Seems to me that there is a difference of opinion on how the museum should be managed. You have your opinion and they have theirs. They are the ones in power and you are not. They asked you to leave & you left. So just let it go. You aren't going to be invited back because you get in their face. Time to move on. |

Unless you gave them to the museum as a loan (and can prove it), or gave them while dying but got better, you have given up all right to them, as the law would consider them gifts. You can ask for a gift back all you want, but whomever you gave the gift are under no obligation to give the gift back to you, or for free for that matter. It's New York contract law. |

I'd actually have to look things over to see their current condition, but even at museums with a larger number of members and better funding, they still can't keep up with all the work it takes just to maintain what they have, much less bring it up to good state of repair. Even Brooklyn is hard-pressed there as well.It would be a major job any way you slice it. The good news is that it looks like more people are seeing the point of doing it given all the efforts we've seen here this year so far. But I really have no idea just how much is going to be needed at this point in time. |

There will be legal consequences to these libelous statements publicly shaming me as a thief and a liar. I have irrefutable evidence which demonstrates both tortfeasors possessed knowledge that I did not steal (much less was caught stealing), that all of my actions were authorized by a museum superior, and that my statements concerning a trade-out of TMNY's Low-V were not lies but in fact substantiated by members of the volunteering group. |

Kingston, NY isn't exactly the easiest place to reach from NYC via public transit, and then you need to figure out how to actually get to the museum. While a relatively easy drive, the most obvious demographic (NYC area railfans) is less likely to own a car than even the average NYC resident. That said, the fact that the fall foliage train this year left from Albany completely sold out with no advertising speaks volumes about the potential to draw a crowd. The Amtrak station parking lots were completely full, possibly for the first time ever. If TMNY had a route of reasonable length with running equipment like BERA, its ability to draw a crowd from the *north* would be significantly enhanced. |

FALSE!First, Kingston is a city, not a town or village, but that is a minor semantic issue. The main reason for the decline of upstate cities like Kingston is moving industry from here to Southern “right-to-work” mooch states and eventually to China. |
