Unless you gave them to the museum as a loan (and can prove it), or gave them while dying but got better, you have given up all right to them, as the law would consider them gifts. You can ask for a gift back all you want, but whomever you gave the gift are under no obligation to give the gift back to you, or for free for that matter.It's New York contract law. |
