You mean like paying for those MTA stickers, Erik? You guys don't have any gate revenue at all. Survive and thrive are two different things. Building track is only kidding yourself. You need enormous overhauls there to the equipment, not the track. What are your plans for the trolley inside the barn? What about the BMT Q type? Nothing. All they talk about is electrification and a substation. They already have a sub in the rear of the barn.Garces continually displays poor judgment. First, he said the Low-V would be ready in time for summer. No way. Then he wanted me, a one-man would-be woodworker, to rebuild the BMT Q (I am not a woodworker, btw). Is he serious? Garces showed me a rollsign from an R-10. He was going to trade it for a signal from some guy working at the MTA. I couldn't believe it. I told him that guy had the better of the deal. You could GET a signal from the MTA any old time if you're a museum. That loco took three years after Sandy to get working again. And that was for only a simple repair. |
