On Joe Koerner's website, he has a reprint of a 1915 BMT Dual Contracts pamphlet announcing the "new" Sea Beach route-it started from Chambers St. in Manhattan, and the next 2 stops were Gold St. and DeKalb Ave in Brooklyn. What is Gold St.? The earliest BMT map I could find is the 1924 BMT map reprint at nycsubway.org, and it doesn't list a Gold St., but the only stop between Chambers and DeKalb is the old abandoned Myrtle Ave. station-is Gold St. the original name of Myrtle Ave.?
