Anything built after 1918 would not have had to take the dimensions of Q-cars or gate cars into account, as wooden cars were disallowed in tunnels following the Malbone St. wreck.

Bob

P.S. If I'm correct about the prohibition of wooden cars in tunnels after 1918, what DID run on the 9th Av. El above 155th St between then and the 1950's?
