The H tracks and 4th Avenue Line were high enough for elevated car roofs, otherwise Eastern Division equipment could not have gotten to the Southern Division post-1940.

If the DeKalb-Gold Street area doesn't have sufficient clearance now, it must have had to do with deKalb reconstruction.
