Remember that there were intended to be two to three so-called Brooklyn Loops.The only one completed was Manhattan Bridge to Montague Street Tunnel. The Brooklyn Bridge one was to loop to the Williamburgh Bridge. As you can see from the map, the Brooklyn Bridge tracks ran straight through the interlocking to Canal. The Nassau tracks straight through to Manhattan Bridge. |
