No, the entire Flatbush Ave extension subway was SOTA for subway construction at the time. I believe they used re-inforced concrete as opposed to steel columns for structural support. It has been re-configured over the years, particularly in the late 1950's. I also believe it was originally built with clearances high enough for el cars to traverse thru it.
