"clop-clop-clop" was the sound of Artens ... "bang-bang-bang" is John Witherspoon ... so the question would be "how bad is it?" Knowing the original reporter personally, I'd say it had Witherspooned or he wouldn't have pointed it out. "Bang-bang-bang-bang-bang" breaks rails ...Definitely something to point out to the crew on the train so it can be written up. You really don't want clod-hoppers out there now beating the iron when it's shrinking. And "skid season" is over now ... time for all good trains to visit Mr. Simmons. :) |
