It's cars occasionally had paintjobs inside and out. Dark cars were less frequent there. But the B division at least had some modern cars, like the R44/46. Nothing comparable on the IRT until the R62's showed up. You grew up on the West Side. The East Side IRT was better. Cars assigned to the #6 line got painted almost every month. Grafitti was mostly conquered on the Flushing line before just about every other line except the E/F. |
