If Amtrak had the Pentagon's budget, they'd have upgraded the entire system to high speed service and built a new line from Seattle to Anchorage.If Amtrak just had the $46 billion the Pentagon wasted on failed or cancelled programs in the last 10 years, the Acela would have a dedicated high speed route. |
