Funny how back when the right was selling our profitable rail system down the river for their "defense" highway network, and in the 45 years since, there was no concern over disproportionate spending levels between modes.I see you are attempting to rewrite history again. The 1956 bill passed the House (Democrat controlled) 338 to 19. It was co-authored in the Senate by none other than Albert Gore Sr. which I think is really tremendous. Anyway also Democrat controlled. Also passed. But yet "The Right" is solely responsible. Again typical. |
