It reinforces the ostracism they may already have experienced in their families, churches, or schools. It sends a direct message to society at large, that homophobia is a core value of Scouting.Wrong - - the Boy Scouts is a private orgnization which abides by the code and morals. Excluding gays is not homophobic, unlike you assume it is. Have you thought it may be a moral issue which they want to teach to all boy scouts? |
