Any private organization that doesn't directly or indirectly get public funds should admit who they please.Should a Polish-American Civic Organization admit Chinese and Bolivian people? The Boy Scouts OTOH are a Congressionally Chartered Organization. As an official Patriotic Organization, they are allowed under the Flag Code to wear the American Flag on their uniforms while at the same time having an admission policy that is anything but patriotic. Congress should pull their charter. Then they can become like Augusta National and freely discriminate without the official blessing of ALL the American People. |
