Because having the trial in LA would have resulted in jurors that would/could not have come to a verdict based on FACTS and EVIDENCE alone, but would take "feelings" and "how it appears" into account. |

When a person puts their hands up and says they do not have a weapon, shouldn't police stop shooting at that point? Wilson did not. Had he stopped, Michael Brown would still be alive. |

He was a major PITA for SEVERAL City/State agencies as he never stopped continuing breaking various laws day in and day out. Guys like him live by the sword, hence they die by the sword. |

They'll tell you that you that you can stab someone with a knife even though you've been mortaly wounded. |

He was hardly a victim, just another loudmouth who thought that HE could dictate policy to the police. He would stand on the same corner EVERY day, delling loosies while the poor storeowner didn't make any cigarette business. The State BBB was called on him, Vice cops were, Precinct cops were, since he wasn't on any lease, he couldn't get evicted, which the City tried due to this and his violent robbery recidivism... |

The simpler one might be if there can't be evidence found on Michael Brown's body that he threw a punch. Because Officer Wilson sustained a broken eye socket, that would mean that Dorian Johnson is who threw the punch, and he could end up charged with the murder (Missouri follows proximate cause principles with respect to murder) of Michael Brown. |
