It only takes one person on the jury to say not guilty. I hope they move the case out of the area or 12 blacks will say guilty no matter what. They will be afraid of rioting if they say not guilty. |

Your confusing the grand jury hearing with the trial. Once the grand jury concludes it's up to the District Attorney's office to decide if and when it brings charges. If the grand jury No-Bills the cop it will be a tough call on what charges if any are brought. Also, I don't know if the grand jury is just hearing a capital murder allegation; second degree murder or manslaughter; or all of the above. |

Unknown when the grand jury will finish. Could be days, could be weeks. And St. Louis is not an all-white town. It's 70% white and 23% black, as has been reported here several times before. Based on available facts, yes he should. Excessive force was used. He shot the gun after Mr Brown put his hand(s) up and shouted about not having a gun...apparently one arm had taken 4 bullets by that point and he had trouble raising it as a result. The two final shots through his skull are what killed him. There was no reason to fire them. |

You obviously missed the "based on available facts" part of the post. We do not know the entire story, but what IS known does result in inquiry as to why he did not cease shooting this young man when he put his hand(s) up and shouted that he did not have a gun. That happened BEFORE the fatal shots were fired. |
