You're begging the question, bingbong. Modern liberalism is supportive of designated people, and far from inclusive. And taking "progressive" by its plain meaning is strictly POV.

And my move away from modern liberalism was a very slow process, as liberalism moved away from certain ideals, becoming more race-based and grievance-based and less class-based and intellectually-based.

And personally, I grew older and had to deal more with the real world and less with the theoretical world, and the betrayal by liberals of people and issues of importance to me.
