Father Muir is wrong. That bill provides employers the right to impose their religious belief on their employees. That is not what a secular corporative employment contract is supposed to be about (I have no issue with actual non-incorporated churches being allowed this exemption, but ONLY actual churches engaged in active religious practice).Business is not about morality, it's about business. Which is just about the furthest thing from religion there is when you think about it. Makes me wonder what, or more accurately IF, they're thinking at all down in AZ. |
