Ummm ... if you look into the "science" on it, the real mitigating factor in the swap is wars that start knocking off the males around 18'ish ...As to voting, Obama brought out the young in 2008. That's unusual. It's the geezers that always show up like voting is some "early bird special" and frankly, the republicans, despite their attraction to the geezers, have been seriously pissing THEM off too ... Elections come down to those who show up. Republicans have been a minority in this country, but they pandered to the ones who usually show up recently. This time around, that particular group is pretty pissed off. And aside from those who don't like "colored people" many of them are concerned about their medicare and social security and the republicans haven't been doing themselves any favors on those fronts lately. |
