I call BS.
I guess it depends on location, but for example, in California, the quickest stats I could find, these are the stats. While women are widely Democratic, they are a minority with Independent voters, and are about half and half among Republican voters.
The women that are Democrats aren't voting for Republicans anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Men (57%) make up a larger share of independent likely voters than women (43%), while women (58%) make up a larger share of Democratic likely voters than men (42%). Republican likely voters are split between men and women (50% each). Among independents, the majority (52%) are college educated, compared to fewer Democrats (43%) and Republicans (40%).
