Pardon me for jumping in, but the point is that many "republican women" are highly put off by the "republican agenda" ... dunno if you caught Sanitorium earlier, but he came right out and said that "freedom" is far more important than the economy. Women are more concerned and in touch with the economy than most men. The whole "birth control" thing is also a major losing point among women, even republican women.Maybe they won't convert and accept Pelosi as their personal savior, but they're certainly getting put off by all the batshit. Those that won't convert are likely to just stay home and to hell with these lunatics. Been reading the "age group" thing you've been beating up the last few days, but I had a few conversations today with a few loyal republican women (the ones that volunteer for the party) and they've had their fill of all this. All twelve of them are planning to sit out this election. None are impressed by the guys running. Say what you will, the GOP has sure tied the dog to the roof of the car this go-round ... at least upstate. Where bingbong is coming from is talking to republican women around here. As a politically active person, she knows that there's no point in preaching to your own choir - it's like Patton's famous quote, "You don't get your guys to die for their country - you get the OTHER guy to die for his" ... You may not like what she's saying, and like I keep saying, I don't give a shit ... but both of us see a losing proposition, and I have no need to defend what she's saying. You guys are selling the wrong chicken wings this year. |
