Blacks reliable? I think even Obama knows that it's going to take something big to stir them up. We already have the "pill" controversy for women. In order to rile up blacks again, Obama will need something recent to convince them that they must come out to vote against racism. That's how you get blacks to come out. Make them think they're "sticking it to whitey" when they pull the lever for Obama.

Blacks won't be as enthused as when Obama ran the first time where everyone saw the real possibility of the first Black President, but make no mistake come election day they will be out to vote, because they'd rather keep their Black President than one Willard Mitt Romney...

Partly, yes. The swing states are swing states because the White population in those states tend to be conservative, and it is a contest between the conservative Whites and minorities + liberal Whites. The states where the White population is liberal are always solid blue. IA, CO, & OH are probably the few swing states that swing primarily because of how each state's Whites vote, and not so much because of their minorities.
