I agree. But in a socialist system, the well connected along with an arbitrarily random selection of middle class will get it and the poor still won't. Getting treatment shouldn't be like winning the lottery, the well prepared (people who were frugal, drove crappy cars, lived with roommates) and saved up for emergencies should certainly be able to cash in on that preparedness to save their own life.
