The top 1% pay 39% of the taxes while only receiving 20% of the income, best not to piss them off.The benefit to the economy of the top 1% or 0.1% income earners should be measured by their share of tax revenue. It should be measured by their contribution to the GDP - the amount of goods and services purchased. |
